There’s the opening colony, the Lunar base, the Flotilla, and back to the abandoned colony. There are 2-3 protagonists (prologue guy, Isaac, and Carver).Ģ) Non-contiguous locales. That’s all reasonable to expect based on how they’ve structured this remake.īut the third one presents the highest risks and opportunities to work on a remake for a number of reasons:ġ) Multiple protagonists. Maybe we get The Sprawl as a fully explorable station ala Sevastopol in Alien: Isolation, we see more from Teidemann and other villains, we get even more depth to the combat systems, etc. If we get lucky and get a Dead Space 2 remake, I think the overall game stays the same since the narrative and pacing is already rock solid. The gameplay will have hallucinations, brutal and gory moments like dead space and more event horizon moments (with insane people doing even more insane stuff).I think it’s a more interesting exercise looking at Dead Space 3 than Dead Space 2. the security team dies and the protagonist is basically alone trying to find any clues about how to get out of this place while also trying to find the key information that the original crew from the colony found about how to stop these things. Either isaac/carver/ellie or some new protagonist is sent to the base to see what went wrong (with a security team), then. Eventually they become insane and the necromorph stuff starts happening and communication is lost.
They make a entire base into that place and things go fine. Eventually A large human spaceship found this civilization that could hold the key to the necromorph origins and the way to destroy them all. We should get more into the future and what remained from humanity is trying to find a type of civilization that is the origin of the moons. We should see earth in all its glory dying in good cosmic horror scene with the birth of another moon while isaacc and carver dissappeared (or maybe not). But if motive is the one to make dead space 4.ĭead space 4 could be about trying to stop the moons from destroying other human colonies.
